Crysflake

Iron Wire, Glass Yarn, UV Resin,  20x20x20cm 2022

Crysflake takes inspiration from the six-fold radiating form of a snowflake, visualizing energy that grows in fractal patterns through space. Iron wire serves as the structural armature for energetic expansion, while glass yarn and UV resin form translucent crystalline surfaces, capturing a moment of energetic formation.

Rather than imitating an actual snowflake, the work uses its logic of outward branching and self-division to explore how energy replicates and extends itself. Each spherical tip functions like a micro-node of release, while the tensile internal network suggests continuing energetic motion beneath the stillness of the form.

The hexagonal outward spread gives the piece a sense of both stability and expansion—a structure that could be read as an energy core or the beginning of an unfolding field. Viewers are naturally led along the radiating paths, as though tracing the direction of dispersing energy.

The work represents a micro-scale crystallization of energy— a delicate yet precise configuration that invites the viewer into a quiet, outward-expanding perceptual state.
