Crystal Bee

Iron Wire, Glass Yarn, UV Resin  30x10x40cm 2022

Crystal Bee presents a minimal, crystallized energetic node. Iron wire outlines the directional framework of the energy, while glass yarn and UV resin form translucent, solidified structures—traces of energy temporarily held in place.

Although the title hints at a biological reference, the work does not depict a bee. Instead, it draws on the symbolic qualities associated with the creature—vibration, movement, and transmission—to visualize how energy gathers and stabilizes within a spatial point. The three outward extensions create a balanced yet tensioned form, suggesting energy converging at the center before dispersing again.

The chain-like connections and glassy textures introduce a sense of suspension, as if the structure exists between formation and dissolution. The viewer’s attention is naturally pulled toward the central node, encountering it as a focal point of energetic intersection.

The work captures a crystallization of energy in its smallest form— a momentary energetic spark that invites the viewer into a brief state of internal stillness and alignment.
